The Starter Kit Set from VFS Marine is a NMEA 2000 Certified product designed to provide a universal device for use in waterproof and dustproof marine environments.

This starter kit set is compatible with major brands of marine electronics such as Garmin, Lowrance, Simrad, B&G, Navico, and more. It comes with a 24AWG/2C and 22AWG/2C conductors and is equipped with N2K connectors with gold-plated contacts for the best possible connection. It is also rated IP67 for optimal protection that meets NMEA 2000 certification requirements, ensuring reliable performance in harsh marine conditions.

Function:

The NMEA 2000 Starter Kit simplifies the process of setting up a fundamental NMEA 2000 network on your boat. After establishing this core network, future expansion becomes a breeze, thanks to the cross-compatibility of all NMEA 2000 components. Everything necessary to initiate your NMEA 2000 network is included within the package.

The package comprises an NMEA 2000 drop cable (2.0 meters / 6.56 feet), a backbone cable (6.0 meters / 19.69 feet), a power cable (2.0 meters / 6.56 feet), two T-connectors (one with 1 Port and one with 2 Ports), as well as both male and female terminator connectors.

The interface cable for connecting the Yamaha Engine to the NMEA 2000 network enables you to view real-time engine parameters on the screen of your chartplotter sounder. This does not require CommandLink or CommandLink Plus systems.

To connect a Yamaha motor to NMEA, use a T-connector (included) to connect one end of the cable to the main NMEA network, and then connect the other end of the cable to the motor using the provided special connector.
